The 8th World Congress on Railway Research will be held at COEX, the Convention and Exhibition Center. The facility features 6,000-seat convention hall, a 1,600-seat ballroom and a 1,100-seat auditorium. With state-of-the-art equipments and facilities for communications, it is capable of hosting large-scale International events. COEX is ideally located in the heart of business districts in southern Seoul with easy access to the international airport, subways, other public transportations, and is in close proximity to a number of cultural sites.
